This natural care oil comes from an ancient Native American recipe. This tree, called redwood in Guyana, from which the resin is extracted, offers properties similar to those of Peruvian Balsam. The medicinal properties of these two plants treat and relieve lower back pain and neck pain. Soothing and "numbing," this "analgesic" oil relieves rheumatism. Papaati is a very little used oil, but it is comparable to another caesalpiniaceae: hymenaea courbaril, or "dog poop," from which a varnish is extracted suitable for treating the most beautiful Native American creations. The antibacterial action of papaati would combine the appropriate antibacterial functions, prompt to treat bacteria infecting the joints and lumbar discs (lower back pain). Papaati eliminates the formation of bacterial foci within worn cartilage.
